I can't seem to figure out how the panel under the nose cone goes on.

I got it to fit on, but the rear 2 holes do not line up with the side panels (the hole the clips go into) see pic..the orange bit

There is no movement, panel is on properly, but looks like it needs to come forward by half an inch?

Anyone got any idea's to what I am doing wrong?

This panel has 2 holes at the top, when fitted to the bike, there is nothing behind it for the push clips to go into. I would think they go into the orange holes (part of the side panels.. But they are too far back..

This is it fitted...the orange u see if the panel - as I used my flash to take the pic..the hole that it needs to line up with is further back.

    Could there be something missing?

Don't think they go into the side panel but the air duct housing!

Were did you find that picture? Is there one of the panel that goes under the nose cone...as that would possibly show it..

Better, but still can't see what it goes into...it would make sense to go into the side panel..as that's the only place I can see..

Think I'll sleep on it... And check the diagrams you posted on a computer in the morning

    I think...

The air duct resonator thing connects to the middle cowl, the also connects to the side panel, then the trim under the nose attaches to the air duct resonator.

Have you done the flapper mod? I made the same mistake and took off the air duct resonator but you need it still to bolt the bottom panel back on

I did not, but the bike came with it done, as there was no hoses etc also under the head light..

So I need this...wonder if its expensive? Dealer part?

What about the other side? Or are there 2 resonators?

The air duct resonator is near £24 each..but guessing they have never been on the bike in my ownership, hence why I was missing 2 push clips to put it back together (these I went and bought few days back)..

So wondering if I should buy or just leave it?
