Thought I'd ask this as I'm running the stock Bridgestone. Tyres are possibly one of the most important parts of any bike so I'm just wondering what you guys are using. Cheers
I hated the standard Bridgestones and run Michelin Pilot Road 4's. Getting on with them very very well indeed.
I must admit I went out the other day and I didn't feel stable and planted at all. Rubbish ride! Maybe it was all in my head?
I had the stock Bridgestone on the 600 they were rubbish got shut as soon as I could, always had Dunlop sportsmart 2 on the blade great all year round tyre & well wearing
Qualifiers for me. Not well liked but I find them fine. Had them on the K5 Gixer 1000 and now the Blade.
Pirelli Rosso Corsa for me, stable yet decent change of direction performance and they give me confidence which I didn't have on Bridgestone S20. So far good wear rate too.

PR4 or PP3 depending on the season they get changed. Found the OEM Bridgestones a little skittish in the cold, the rear would spin up far too easily even on lowish throttle, once sent me sideways into a red bus on the King Road!
Summer road but mostly track days, Dunlop Motorsport D212pro, will change in winter to either PR4, M7 or Rosso II
Pirelli DRC for me, stick like sticky stuff in the dry, quite passable if caught in the wet. I ride mainly in the dry, so perfect for me. Mike.
What were these like in the wet mate? I dont many miles a year so something very sticky would be the best option for me.
But I'm no track rider so maybe something extreme would be wasted on me also. Just looking for something with brilliant grip but also good if I get caught out in the rain. Too many to choose from....
Hi matey. Can't say what they are like in the wet I'm one of those that only rides in glorious conditions hence only about 1500 miles this year! I have got experience of this rubber in another bike and been in the rain - not a great all round tyre but bloody brilliant in the dry, amazing when warm. You may want to consider pilot road 3 or 4 for a more all around tyre. They also have a good reputation.
