Afternoon Guys, I've been searching for a decent FireBlade Forum and think I've finally found it. I'm Wayne, 36 and live in Chelmsford, Essex. I've owned my 2008 'Blade in Jet Black which is now at 15000 miles, for 2 years after breaking my ZX10R. Mods Wise: The Blade came with a TwoBrothers Slip-On which is great as I was looking to purchase a 2B's anyway, and I've added ASV levers, Double Bubble Screen, Gear Indicator, Tail Tidy, Honda Comfort Gel Seat, Crash Bungs, GB Racing Engine Covers and have had had the engine casing repainted. Its on Michelin Pilot Power 2CT Tyres which are my second set and are brilliant, and I've had the suspension set up by MCT in Stowmarket, Suffolk which has transformed the bike. Hoping make some friends and chat about bikes. Cheers for reading.....

Mine is same as my Avatar pic though my swingarm is black too. You don't see too many Black ones but loads of Repsol and the Zebra printed ones where I live. HRC is a spot on scheme but I'd have to change the Gold Wheels. Not to my taste. I'd have to go with White all round or if I was daring, a White Front and Blue Rear
I very nearly bought a black one, same year, less miles but £1500 more than what I paid due to it having about 1000 miles on it at 5 years old and it being ABS, decided in the end to stick with "pretty" one and save myself lots of money, lol. Loving the wheels idea, though I don't think I have the bottle for it to be fair, not sure how 2 different coloured wheels would look. I am looking at getting them powder coated again next year, so you never know, lol Never seen one with a black swing arm....
Never seen one with a Black Swing Arm?? Interesting. My mate has a KTM 1290 and has gone two tone wheels on BOTH front and rear. Black that works into Orange. Its very bold but I think its nasty personally. White wheels would look nice on yours, but thats easy for me to say

White wheels are maybe too bold for me, then again, who am I kidding, they were yellow on my old R6, lol Think nothing of the me not seeing a black one with a black swing arm, to be fair, I have most likely just never noticed, but I think it would look way better than standard silver ali

Welcome, Good to see a Fellow Essex Boy I'm in Hornchurch so not too far from you. Loads of us are heading out your way on Sunday as we head to Finchingfield, about 15 of us go on all different bikes, it's always a good ride out.
