Hi guys. After some research, ohlins fork spring seems to be identical in their nix30 cart kit and fg and fgrt fork. A friend give me a set of 10nm spring from an Ohlins fork from a Ducati 1198s. And I've bought a new 0.950. But...... They exactly identical.... Except one millimeter length! The Ducati Ohlins spring are one millimeter longer. I belive it ll be an issue..... No ? The new is in the center of the pic the other two are 1198s spring.
Not sure I understand the question, but the number of coils and gauge of the wire will dictate the spring rate
It's not a problem of rate cause I know the rate of each one. It's an issue with the length of the left and right spring compare to the center one.
Doesn't matter does it? The preload will be what it is. It'll still be set for your weight. Surely a 1mm difference (uncompressed) will make no difference once done.
Correct, the 1mm difference uncompressed will make no difference when compressed as you can take up the 1mm with how much or little you compress the spring
No really I was thinking giving them to you, with all this amount of humor, don't you need 4 Springs in your fork?
