Went to Maidstone Honda today to look at a new Blade, thinking I'd probably be going for the standard ABS one with the free Akra they're offering. Little did I know they have an Urban Tiger, SP and the new BSB replica in stock and all priced pretty close to the standard Blade.

Didn't realise the Tiger or SP were still available and the BSB rep looks absolutely stunning.

    So, which Blade is best!?

Personally not a fan of the special editions. The Urban Tiger definitely doesn't do it for me. If you get a free akrapovic with the standard one, I'd go for that in the tricolour paint. Simple and stunning! :)

Ah yeah that makes sense. The SP they had was used with about 150 miles on.

Has the SP not got the most with Ohlins, blueprint engine etc and the others not just paint job. If so SP all the way.

Bsb rep is the best looking paint job. Sp a close second. But I'd have the sp for the trick bits too

Obviously I'm going to be biased as I picked up my Urban Tiger only last weekend, but look at it! Just look at it! It's beautiful, but I've wanted that colour scheme for about 20 years. It does come with the Akrapovic exhaust and usually a seat cowel as well. But as someone said the SP is the daddy with all its trick bits on. Just personal taste in the end.

Hmm, if price is very similar for the used SP, I'd go for that. :D

Colour scheme alone then it's the BSB rep for me.

whe ypu say which is best,do you mean best colour scheme,or best bike?

if its just colour scheme then go for whichever ever you prefer, makes no difference what everyone else thinks.it it's which is the best "bike",then with the additional parts, the SP.

Personally I would pick up a year old RRE, most will be low miles and you have have several thou left in your back pocket, but at the same time I understand the lure of a new bike, but its a whacking premium the way these things depreciate.

The SP with the brembos and ohlins easily trumps the other 2 and if they're similar money then definitely:)

I like the urban tiger scheme, but if the prices were similar I'd have to go SP too. You're getting more for your money.
