As you can see in my avtar, I have a stunning 2012 model blade.

I have my eye on a low mileage pristine 2007 HRC.

To make it happen I would have to part ex or sell my 2012., which is making me stall a bit.

Would you or do you think its a good idea to go back rather than forward?

I sold my 2007 HRC and bought a 2014 HRC and then a 2015 HRC, as much as I loved my RR7 and for what I sold it for I really should of kept it but I wouldn't go back.

Dont get me started on SP1s and 2s as I have had numerous of both and they still are my favourite Motorbike bar none.

Sell the blade & buy the cleanest newest SP you can find, they won't hold a candle to your blade but they will bring a bigger grin & won't depreciate as much.

The only way is to go ride one so you can back to back it, the RR6/7 is good but it was better than the 954 which in turn was better than the 929....see where this is going?

The current 12 onwards is better than an RR7, they have just got better as a handling bike in each incarnation, personally I would only go back for nostalgia, better to buy something else IMO.

Or you buy the older bike and spend the difference on quality suspenders

If your anything like me you'll regret going backwards, bikes like cars get better as they get newer and you'll notice it straight away, as mentioned above a back to back test ride will answer the question for you.

    Just my 2p

As in life, when it comes to change your ride, only trade in for a younger model:D
