    zainoeurope.com and theultimatefinish.co.uk

+1 Have used Zaino products for a couple of years on my bike & car & up to now the best products i have used. However, have just started using Gtechniq products as I had my car treated professionally with the Gtechniq products & was given a load of aftercare products to use. So far - very impressed with Gtechniq.

The Zaino is a good easy to use product. The GTechniq range is somewhat fussy in it's application... it also gets expensive if you start using C1, C5, Exo, etc. compared to the Zaino.

Thanks il boys I like the z6 and z8. But z8 is expensive. Just finished a bottle of Adams detailer. Could even use it on windows but it seems to work out expensive so back to the z6 I think. Unless u recommend anything else for a decent price. Never used any g tech stuff before.
Check this out when I try to machine polish with my da

True. For car detailing I have followed the Zaino application steps & managed to get a pretty good result as an amateur. When i bought my current 911 the dealer was offering a discount on the Gtechniq platinum service/products which comes with a five year warranty. With these new high tech coatings it is much better to get a professional to apply it IMO. But maintaining it is very easy - just use the foam, then shampoo, pat dry & use the detailing spray - great results. Tbh i probably would have continued using Zaino but happy I have given Gtechniq a go.

Agreed... I'm one of the professionals who does exactly that ... C1 is the 5yr product, Serum is now 7yrs ... my favourite is EXOv2 as the beading is immense, however it is only really good for 18months / 2yrs depending on care...

I'm also of the opinion that the majority of daily used vehicles that take advantage of said products should be clay'd and machined every 18 months / 2 yrs to keep it the vehicle looking good due to fallout, tar, etc... so doesn't always make sense to apply a 5yr or 7yr coating. It doesn't stop my customers asking for it though! :)

    C1 + EXOv2 is a superb combo.

Not sure on pad now. Every time I do it its dome that. It was like one last go before I sell the machine. I did the speed one cover and the speed 4/5 over the area and then one again to finish off
    Just bought the gtechniq

Speed 4/5 is rather high for applying a finishing product with a DA machine ... I suspect you are simply overheating the product.

I love the Z6 and Z8, with the Z8 you use such a tiny amount that a bottle lasts for years, literally.

A tiny squirt of Z8 on top of that makes all the difference, but even alone it is a great product.
