Pulled off from a junction entering a roundabout and started to overtake a car on my inside who should have been going off up the bypass at the first exit, when as I'm alongside she continues to come round until I hit the side of her car and she's still going around the roundabout pushing me around with her, no indicators or nothing!!!!! I've got my knee and elbow against the car trying to push myself around with her as she is now where I was supposed to be!!!
I finally comes to a stop without coming off and the woman driving is about 70 and says she was in the right lane as she wanted to go off at the next turning!!! I'm ranting saying she should be over to the right if she is crossing the roundabout as she has just crossed a junction for the bypass but she was just oblivious to this saying that she should have been staying on the left because she was coming off on the left at the next exit!!!

I was fucking bouncing. I just pulled off before I said anything silly!! Slight smudge on my fairing which came off (may have been my leathers or her door handle or something) but no damage.

I now believe in euthanasia or at least take the myopic fuckers licenses off them when they get to that age!! My father in law is the same and he's 83! No patience and is always in the right!!!

It's not always done down to age mate, its down to their attitude, I have seen loads of drivers over the years, in all age groups, that show the same signs of "No patient and always in the right", they usually drive german cars ;):D:D

Glad you're ok....couldn't agree more & its not just old folks it's across the spectrum. Half havent a clue on how to drive round one n the other half seem to shut their eyes, treat it like the wall of death & hope for the best!!
Time they installed Death Ray machines in the centre that pick up any misdemeaners & frizzle them into a cinder :D

Glad you are ok mate! I would be fuming.

I strongly believe there should be an age cap for driving on the roads! Or make people at the age of 60 for example do another driving test along with eye sight tests etc.

I can understand someone entering a roundabout in the centre and then filtering over once passed the first exit and would have no issue with that but surely its just common sense isn't it!

Hopefully when she tells one of her family later they'll educate her regarding lane discipline! Grips my shit!

Mini roundabouts are the best if you get a clusterf*ck of them, they sit for ages just staring at one another on the stop line

Oi you fuck off lol I am nearing that and have 5500cc of bikes in the garage and last year won the most improved racer in my race series. On a serious not my dad lost his licence this year and my mum took up driving again after a 20 year gap, both are 82 and it horrifies me when I hear them talking about how they drive now.

I don't think a test is the answer as most would lose their license! But mandatory observations every ten years would help where if they fail the observed drive then they would have to take further training to bring them back upto standard

I seem to think my dad never took a test way back then?!? learnt to drive in the army after conscription! So guess there's a few like that. My brother in his 40's & been driving since 17 but always lived in the country & if he met me in sheffield he used to ask me for a route to meet up that avoided the big city roundabouts cos he couldn't work them out , and I'm sure that like lots of folks on here I know other ladies who wont/never driven on motorways & avoid city's or driving in the dark....its bloody scary when you think about it :D

Popped out to the local Halfrauds in the van, went the short, slow way there, but decided to come the slightly longer but much faster way back.
Well it would've been faster if the German bloke on his Ducati in front of me would have gone above 45 on a national speed limit road that's very open with superb visibility of the road ahead, sweeping bends etc, a real good bike road as well I know..

So it's not just the cagers sometimes it can be bikers too....proper boiled my piss...
