i'm this close (index finger and thumb held up quite close together) to convincing my dad to buy one... this way he can pay for it, maintain it, put fuel in it, store it, never use it then lend it to me every now and then!! almost as good as a second bike. lol
he doesnt ride that much anymore to be fair, but i know he wishes he was coming when i pack my tail pack up and do one for the weekend when i need a break! and i've never been TT, he used to go all the time so its a trip i want to do together... hes the reason i have a bike, he had loads when i was a kid... taught me to ride on customers cb250 when i was about 8, couldnt touch the floor so he was pillion giving me instructions!! ha ha me and my uncle (couple years older than me) used to take his work bike out when he wasnt around, until we got caught!!
My mum loves my bike. It's a Honda and its blue. At her level of expertise, these are the two main criteria required to get her pride and joy home safely. The fact that I ride like a twat has no bearing whatsoever.
Thx Benn, before I swapped the stock swinger: Would you believe its been like that for 2 yrs, I blame the CBR personally, lol. I bought a Translogic dash for her in Jan '09, still in the box, FFS!
thats a very tidy zrx mate. been looking for something similar myself. had 2 bandit12,s but bored now. nice cornish number plate i see too. (gs850?).
Well spotted mate, correct. Thats my dads bike(I suppose its now mine as he aint asked for it back for a few years, likes his TDM too much)he bought it in '80, not a blip of corrosion on it. Had the ZRX from new, yes I am gonna get on with it pronto!
Just recently bought an Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 on a 59 plate, something different to use whilst the blade is tucked up for winter ..... ..... Had a KTM Superduke 990 and this feels just as punchy and sounds just like my old RSV-R ....... SWEET !
Please don't boot me off the site, here's my other 2 wheeled fun... Nearly finished now, just waiting for the kit to arrive
