Ron haslam about twice the price half the track time tbh.... £160 quid? Plus fuel. £30.... Plus there and back You won't eat tyres.... But it's priceless trust me. If you can go with like minded people and just enjoy the day you'll have the best day ever on a bike.
Ive been a member of this forum for about 18 months and read your comments in numerous post Jimbo. We have never met but you are a very knowledgeable, helpful guy and a top bloke.
Don't worry about going to a trackday on your own I do it all the time. The good thing about trackdays is that everyone (irrespective of skill/experience level) is there for the same reason, the buzz u get from riding on track! Everyone's on the same wave length and there's always people to chat to and get advice from in between sessions. The only word of warning is - be careful you will get addicted to them!
i would say a novice day would be a good introduction, just build up your confidence slowly and enjoy the day. this is quickly followed by buying a full track fairing, quickshifter, tyre warmers and is a slippery slope after you realise thats what owning a sports bike is all about
