Show me your pipes on your 14 or 15 models

I've only done 400 miles. Got the bike 3 week ago and the exhaust came with it. It's my first litre bike and it's the best bike I've had

 

Saw someone picking 1 of these up from craigs in Shipley few weeks ago they look so good in the flesh.. V nice bike fella

 

Thanks for that. I only took my other bike for a price on a service and ended up buying it. I've still not got the other bike serviced either

 

yoshi r77 wont fit on a european 14/15 blade.....but will on a USA one ,as their 14/15 bike is same as 12/13 as far as exhausts go

so ,the folk who have fitted the akrapovic exhaust (not megaphone) do you need to map the bike,or was it still silky smooth,as some come already fitted from honda..........just sprayed my standard can at the moment,which dont look to shite

 

Might have to do that myself stevet. What paint did you use?

 

Black paint.

 

this blakely......bit of fine sand paper,then i put in oven for half hour gas mark ...hasn't faked or chipped...8

I wonder if you could get the exhaust cover carbon dipped and lacquered?

Mine ran fine with no power commander but I've since fitted a pcv and custom map

My 15 with a Racefit Growler with a Carbon sleeve.

Looks excellent IMO. Loud though

For me, it was between this and the Yoshi R77 full carbon.

 

Looks great nearly went for one of these myself but like you say loud, I went for the R77 not so loud but just as nice imo

How does it ride?

 

Exceptional!! Only collected the bike Tuesday hence the big chicken strips, new tyres and all that.

Done a few miles now though. Enjoying it more and more with every mile!

 

Did it come on the bike then? Just wondering how compares to standard and if needs mapping

 

I bought it through the dealer and they fitted it pre-collection, so yes, came with the bike.

I was assured that the bike wouldn't need any mapping work with it installed. I do suspected, however, that the performance would alter if it were mapped to match that pipe. That's just my technician's logic taking over though.
