Was speaking to one of the owners from J&L motorcycles (Carlisle) today who happens to own a supercharged H2, says it's on its 3rd rear tyre & he's only done 800miles, must say bike looks well smart, was in having a look at a 10 month old ZX10R anniversary ( 1700miles ) £8900, good price, looks as good as new, must have a word with the wife!!!!!

The one we saw could barely pull away from my old RR5 I was really disappointed, was expecting it to disappear but only had the slight edge.

Maybe he wasn't trying? Im sorry but every review I've read says the thing is insane and unlike anything else power wise??

Saw one recently, looked mega in the flesh.... Paint had a real chrome affect to it in sunlight you didn't see at the show.

Didn't sound as impressive as I hoped though.... But dude was riding it in jeans and t shirt

Fella down my mum and dads pub has one, said I can have a go of it! Will take him up on the offer :D

What are they 200hp stock? But they weigh 250 kg or something.. I would image when riding its the way the power comes in which makes it feel quick, power to weight is probably about the same as the blade. However slight bit of boost increase with a remap and 230 / 240 is probably quite easy to achieve and then your flying!!

Yeah surely the new 200 bhp 199 kg bikes have it well beat on power to weight, they are high torque, but stopping/cornering 250 kg ain't so good either, a bit like a 600 vs 1000 on track? But without the extra power? I don't even think they look nice but each to there own ;)

Totally agree, every straight has a bend at the end ;) and I'm sure a modern 1000 would more than match it, but I'd love a go to see what it's like, awesome machine imo

I agree, these things look the part in the flesh and I would love a shot on one! On another note, that exhaust...... not good, really not good.

Looked like he was trying to us, the newer blades behind me were being held up by me and prob would of kept up with him.
Maybe he wasn't riding it well I don't know but I haven't seen another to try lol

Have we met before ?? I know Laurence personally and he knows his stuff. Did you see his ZX10R with the full Arrow BSB system on it?
I'll quiz him on the H2 tomorrow if the weather is good cos ill be on my my zx10r with them lot.

I was speaking to Chris Walker about his H2R and he said it was like nothing else, he mentioned by the time you get your head down behind the screen on track you are already at the next corner its literally something like 1.4k ahead of the R1m at 170mph! he said 0-60 ect was a waste of time because it doesn't sound that impressive its the actual distance in front that impresses the most.

As for the H2 in J and L Laurence told me that its not the way it handles ect that makes it special its the way at any speed and any gear it just accelerates at full whack as if you were sitting up at the power band all the time plus that super charger makes an amazing whine as well.
I missed a ride out with him a fue week back me and him were going out for a blast but the weather had other plans.

Did anyone see the superbike of the year in Super bike mag?
they had it on the tack and said it was the shear acceleration that made it fast even tho it was clearly out handled by the proper sports bikes it didn't shame its self and on the straights it pulled back the seconds

As for the blades keeping up sorry lads but not a chance my 2012 blade couldn't keep up with my ZX10R and I did everything possible to it without going into internal engine modifications, let alone the H2 its just in a different league all together i mean come on its supercharged lol possibly a WSB blade could have it but defiantly not a road one.

From what I was told the bhp figures given out by Kawasaki on the H2 were basically wrong Kawasaki apparently openly admit that the actual bikes are producing more bhp than what they quoted. When I was speaking to Frank raffle aka dyno jet uk the one they were doing dyno runs at the nec show was pumping out over 200bhp and that bike was brand new not even run in, it only had something 30min on the dyno at 0 miles to see how the dyno would react to the bike before the show.

Its some machine like not so much in the beauty but there is something captivating about the sheer brutality of it all

If I recall rightly, Each individual bike is blueprinted, so (like the Nissan GTR) every engine has a different BHP.

Also, it is insanely quick. At Brands for round 2 of BSB this year, I cant remember who it was, but I think it was James Ellison who took it round the track during the lunch break and he said it scared the life out of him, he wasnt riding it full out as he wasnt allowed, but when they timed it he wouldve qualified last on the grid for race 1!!
If he'd havde riden it properly he may have set a good enough time to be top ten, and that was just the bog standard H2 it wasnt even the H2R!!!

Saw his zx10r, 191bhp @ rear wheel, says it can't get near his H2, still couldn't afford a back tyre every 400 miles, if only I could run a motorcycle dealership!!!!!

We saw James Hillier ride the H2R at the TT on what was supposed to be a demo lap. The bike looked insanely fast, wheelies everywhere but looked a right handful. I think there's a vid on YouTube.
