I fitted my Yoshi 3 years ago when the bike was new and only thought about the baffle when my MOT came up. However, the noise and the vibration is driving me mad so I thought I would try the bike with the baffle in for our little forum run to wales last week end. Verdict: The Yoshi with the Baffles in is still loud, however you can now here the engine and the vibration has significantly reduced, me SimonRR and mufking put in 354 mile into and around wale Saturday I my final conclusion is that the baffles will now stay in. The bike felt smoother and more pleasurable to ride and if there is a reduction in power I certainly didn't notice. Any comets to the contrary will be welcome?
Leave it in Carl if you prefer it, I really couldn't hear the diffrence following you and unless you use it on track any small gains in bhp are not worth the noise and vibration you were suffering from.
Same as, I have a brand new racetec carbon titanium with infill panel which cost me over £500 sat in the garage, only done 500 miles too noisy for me and ridin buds, love the original for road use, smooth and looks good
I might be the odd one out, but I love the quietness of the original and still wear ear plugs to make it quieter even still. There's something about the bonkers speed without the noise. Smooth and turbine like.
Sounds like you need an electric bike me I love the noise of a good IC engine exhuast But some are a little to loud if not needed, but I wouldn't want no noise like you!

Oi, I'm not ready for an electric bike just yet I still hear enough and love the sound of bike pushing hard through the gears. I did a great 320 mile ride at the weekend and felt pleasantly knackered by the end of it, but wouldn't want to have done it with a loud can.
Baffle out for me. I love the sound of the Yoshi at full pelt, sounds like a fighter jet. Although I do find the uneven drone at tickover a bit annoying (but then i haven't fitted a PCv). I tried fitting the baffle after the can was installed, just to see the difference, but had a bolt dropping into can disaster and gave up
Been there done that ! So fiddly stupid place to put baffle fixing point on yoshi r77 wouldn't attempt without removing can know lesson learned On my akrapovic i have fitted now, the baffle fixing is on the bottom so easy install and removal without removing can from bike. The db killer just sits on the garage self tho
I have kept mine in, still sounds good and haven't noticed any difference in power delivery. Sound check at Brands yesterday was 99dB @ 5500 rpm

What a brilliant reply. I have a 2 brothers slip on and tried it with the power tip off, and it was horrible. Noise was unbearable and the vibration and jerkiness made for an bad bike. Put the power tip back in and the bike was transformed. Better muted sound, smoother throttle and no vibration. Hate the look of the power tip but small price to pay for a better bike.

Yes, Yes, Yes, I know it sounds massively suspect, that a bike rider is happy with a softer sound. But, its still loud enough for me. And...if you think I'd EVER buy and own a GS if all things, then i'm sorry to disappoint you fella
Tried the baffle in my RS5 a few weeks back and it made almost f*** all difference. Went to get my RR7 MOT'd at the weekend but didn't bother putting it in, passed no problem. The RS5 has got a lovely warm fluffy sound which sounds great but not too loud.
