Is this a good price? i know ABS - and people say keep away from it...full of trouble? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR...BS-15-Plate-/151753085651?hash=item23553052d3 Am i okay to assume non ABS can be bought cheaper? Is there a good time to shop around for a new blade from a dealer? to pick up good deal? interested to know whats the best price that has been paid for a New or near new blade (maybe an ex demo)? Sam
Its only got just over 1000 miles on the clock so i would guess that is either a Demo Bike or someone with more money than sense and bought the Bike for the summer only. I would say that is a good price for such low milleage
A non ABS http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR...e-0-finance-/331620788045?hash=item4d3623a74d with extra's http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR-1000-RR-FIREBLADE-REPSOL-/201425596506?hash=item2ee5e6b05a
I paid £10.5k for a new non ABS HRC Blade a couple of months ago. I've had 5 bikes off the same dealer over the years and always been happy with their deals. I'd got to about £11k and then they factored in the £500 cashback offer from Honda. As for best time to buy, end of year has got to be the best chance at a keen deal. I bought my car 1st week of December with around a 20% discount from list price. The dealer was looking to hit his numbers as they get various bonuses and incentives on the number of new registrations, certain models shifted, etc. Bike dealers have got to work in a similar way and bike sales are usually poor in the winter months.
payed £8750 for a six week old 2014 non abs blade with 413 miles on clock from bmw williams manchester, free delivery ,service, years tax and a tank of petrol......they had it advertised as a late registered RRC 2012 bike....turned out it was a 2014 RRE.....plus came with r and g rear sets, cotton reels, tail tidy and honda wheel strips..(plus original bits) .their bad....my good...the baby jesus was with me that day
11k is overpriced IMO - I'd have thought you could get them down to 10k. Got mine new for just over 11k when you factor in the haggle along with the £500 deposit contribution and £500 discount.
I think that's a good price.I already saw more expensive motorcycles with a significantly higher mileage.
Sorry forgot to put that 2014 Hrc tri-coloured so non-abs! Anybody's interested give me a call on 07515720858
