    Is this a good price?

i know ABS - and people say keep away from it...full of trouble?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR...BS-15-Plate-/151753085651?hash=item23553052d3

Am i okay to assume non ABS can be bought cheaper?

Is there a good time to shop around for a new blade from a dealer? to pick up good deal? interested to know whats the best price that has been paid for a New or near new blade (maybe an ex demo)?

Its only got just over 1000 miles on the clock so i would guess that is either a Demo Bike or someone with more money than sense and bought the Bike for the summer only. I would say that is a good price for such low milleage

I paid £10.5k for a new non ABS HRC Blade a couple of months ago. I've had 5 bikes off the same dealer over the years and always been happy with their deals. I'd got to about £11k and then they factored in the £500 cashback offer from Honda.

As for best time to buy, end of year has got to be the best chance at a keen deal. I bought my car 1st week of December with around a 20% discount from list price. The dealer was looking to hit his numbers as they get various bonuses and incentives on the number of new registrations, certain models shifted, etc.

Bike dealers have got to work in a similar way and bike sales are usually poor in the winter months.

11k is overpriced IMO - I'd have thought you could get them down to 10k. Got mine new for just over 11k when you factor in the haggle along with the £500 deposit contribution and £500 discount.

I think that's a good price.I already saw more expensive motorcycles with a significantly higher mileage.
