for me it goes in this order.

    m/c
    lines+fluid
pads (honda pads are very very good though)
    calipers
    discs

i'd always do 1+2,4+5 are if i fancy some bling

Try a full beringer set, and you ll never go back :)

If you don't have money, try by order :

    pads + brake line
    MC
    caliper last

I ve try a lot of Brembo, discasciatti and beringer brakes, for me Beringer ( at equal money ) is the best.

beringer rotors are good but a little bit heavy.

Brake tech Iron rotors are the best i ve own.

for now, i ve std rotors and it's ok with MC and caliper.

Replaced with Brembo 19RCS master cylinder, was way better than the standard unit improved braking a lot!!
Now running with Brembo discs and pads and is nigh on perfect. Still not as good as a set of Brembo M4 monoblocs but then I only use it on the road and not track so do not need massive braking.
Now using racing fluid as I found the standard fluid breaking down due to excessive heat as I never use the rear brake and don't have ABS either.
It still eats front wheel bearings and headstock bearings, but now have found much better units than genuine Honda poo units that cost a fortune and are crap!!!!
Only problem I do have now is that the steel backing of the pads have worn the alloy caliper bodies and now have the pads rocking in the caliper which causes a knocking sound and a clunk, but I don't care as they have done some 28 thousand miles and are cheap to replace.

I've done all of them at some point or another, but like I said, unless your pushing at the top end of club racing, then 1+2 is all you will ever need on the newer bikes.

    Yup as above.

Also biker discount store will also throw in a set of brake lines as part of an offer for folks on the forum.

I've just went through the same process on my GSXR1000.

I'd say the first things to do at sensible money are EBC HH pads and a set of braided lines.

The best thing you can do is a Brembo RCS master cylinder.

I've put on a set of Brembo M4 calipers and they are awesome, but the gains for the money spent are not as good as the master cylinder.

I'll be putting on a set of Braketech iron disks over winter.
