Hi all. Got about 500 miles on my new to me 09 Repsol. Really loving the bike, very forgiving to a numpty like me but with shed loads of grunt (do shed's grunt ?) Lovely clean 4k 1 owner bike which I have had ventureshielded. My boots are rubbing the frame and leaving wear marks as well as black residue. I know RandG do frame protector kits which are nicely shaped but only available in Black (emailed them) which I think would look odd on a silver frame. Perhaps I should blow in the marks with the Honda silver then 3m heli tape or VS tape over for future protection... Any ideas please (other than ignore it and just ride the fekker...)
Yep, if only they did clear (like they say they do...) Not sure I can replicate the curves if I tried to copy it with tape/VS, never was any good at art ! Not a massive fan of too much carbon, Repsol scheme is busy enough I think. If you hadn't guessed, I'm a difficult bugger.
Is it the ankle bit of the boot rubbing swing arm ? I have put extra bit of venture shield on swing arm but it has to be replaced every few months as it wears through. Only the nearside scuffs.
No, outside of heel on frame and also another bit up by the shifter caused by toe. Basically the bits the R and G frame guard black kit covers !
