What year is your blade and does it have a gear position sensor on it ,if not then won't work,if it has check bike year in dash setting and download latest firmware if not done

Well sounds as tho it does not have a gear position sensor on the bike Scott so you won't get the gears showing up on the hm dash

Not sure if you have this information, hope it's of some help !
MODEL SETUP: Select which model bike you have installed the HM Dash on. M
    !
GEAR RATIO SETUP: Some manufactures send this info automatically to the HM Dash but others require you set this up manually. Should you need to do this manually we recommend that you do it on a secure paddock stand with at least 2 persons present. To do this select SET GEAR RATIOS. Start the bike if not already running making sure you are in neutral. Go in to first gear and run at a steady RPM (we recommend 4000rpm but whatever rpm you select make sure you use the same for all gears selection) hold this steady and press SEL this will store the ratio selected for 1st gear and move on 2nd. Change in to 2nd gear and again hold at a steady 4000rpm and repeat the above process. Do this for all gears. Once completed it will return you to the GEAR RATIO SETUP screen

    yes you will.

the bike does have a gear pos sensor,it just doesn't have it on the dash on the 2011 down but on the 2012 it does, pretty sure you have the wrong s/w or firmware on your dash scott.hve you told HM that its a 2011 but the s/w is for a 2012?

I didn't say that on the phone. I did say that to the person that put it on but he said it made no difference. I can't buy an up to date computer just to upload hm software. And it's quite a drive to go to hm. What do I do lol
