    Hi,

Looking into buying a Ex demo bike early next year - noticed Repsol ex demo can be bought for near 10K (inc vat)

Hoping to keep the bike for 5 + years.

I was thinking to maybe get the SP, however cant seem to see any ex demo sp's out there...Do these exist?

The SP is £15000, and wondering if its worth the extra £5000?

Never bought a bike from a dealer before - is there any ways of getting good deals? or would they all sell @ the same price?

Spoke to a dealer - they said they dont use SP's as the bike cost more, but it maybe possible however they cant sell for 6 months after first use.

    Thanks

Found you can pick up a new 0 mile SP for £10k (inc 19% vat) in Germany..

looking at import costs - anyone know if there are any disadvantages to importing in?

Headlight conversion will add a few hundred to that at least then UK first reg (whats that about £150?). Are euro bikes still down on power too?

There's a 14 plate one owner SP tri-colour with 800 odd miles in the market place on here for £12000

How low on power are the euro bikes, surely a limiter of some sort that can be removed? would i really notice the power difference on the road?

Jesus that's dear , you should a screwed Matt for more discount. Maidstone Honda have a 15 plate repsol blade with abs and 900 miles on for 11k . Prob get discount off that and has 2 yr warranty. Got my brand spanker repsol with abs 1st March from there for 10.7k when they were 12k at the time for a repsol

I'd have had the sp if he offered you one for 13.5

Riding position? Is it not the same as a non sp?

I thought sp is just brakes, suspension and afew other bits over the standard?

No not on the 15s wider bars and steeper head angle.. Noticeable when on them too im 5'9 so felt way too stretched for me taller riders might love it
