I want to try and tag onto faster riders scooby. I know it's a good laugh out there but it's a long way to go. I was in novice there in 2013 and there were some riders who looked as if they were new to trackdays.
but I'm sure you'd be able to move up quite quickly,i was in novice at aragon last month, got moved up before we even started the 1st day. but it is a gamble I spose so maybe just hold on.one of the our lads (jonny) has missed the last couple of trips,we've booked him on but not sure if he will be coming or not,so nearer the time if it turns out he's not going I can just pass the place to you,but that's a few months down the line.
I know my first year there No Limits messed up with the way they listed the groups inters fast and fast/acu loads of us booked into the wrong group I spent 3 days trying to move group without success so it is a gamble.
yea like i said, euro trips tend to be inters, fast and then fast/acu. looks like i need to get an ACU licence
Another reason why they should just do chrono.... 1st come 1st served and split into groups you should be in, not what you think you should be in..... Euro may be diff but the gulf in pace in all groups on a TD is unreal imo
Do like the idea of chrono can see the reasons why they should/shouldn't do it but have heard it's a huge investment in the region of £100k to set up so why would they bother as it won't make them any more money it makes sense for the customer but not as a good investment in business IMO and people will still book the trips regardless if it's chrono or not you only have to see how quick the euro days book up as this trip is full already and it's not until November.
tbh in my experience chrono on a t/day are pointless.different on a 3 dayer though.i know NL are thinking about starting chrono days on euro trips
Just over 5 weeks to go, is everybody ready??? I still need to do the final few repairs to my bike after a highside at Spa in August. This will be my first time back on a bike since then when I did my AC joint. I also could do with some new leathers. Better get my finger out
Cheeky fooker! Ha - Even Lisa knows I'm going..... Unlike someone's wifey Picked up fairings Bought tyres Paid Jase early (sort of lol) New qat tube arrived today Pretty much sorted! Even planning packing logistics with Jase today Maybe list includes New lid New gloves New tyre warmers
Hope you lads have a good time in Jerez. Been there 3 times, and I still need to get back there. Best time 1.47. Still need to prove I have 1 sec in me. Heading to Almeria in November with a arm broken in 3 places. Doctor says no, I know better. Thinking of leaving my bike in almeria as I've booked march. Insurance for lost bike could be an issue. Oh still to repair my blade, after my off.
