Any thoughts/comments on handlebar risers for RR9. Seen these but wondered if anyone else has added the same or similar.
Want to keep my blade but due to past broken back (rebuilt like the bionic man) and getting on a bit I could do with a little more comfort. (don't see any naked I'm interested in either)
These ones state the cables will be supplied but I have read somewhere their is a 2 or 3 inch riser that doesn't require new cables.

    Any thoughts/comments greatly appreciated.

Sure I remember someone on here saying they had got the helibars and had transformed the comfort of the bike

Yes I have fitted them some 10,00 miles ago. Transformed the bike, no more wrist or back/neck ache. I can now do at least three tankfulls of petrol a day now, so circa 450 miles, in comfort

I fitted these to my 05, and as Pete says, they transformed the bike, amazing what just a small adjustment can do.

+1 for Helibars. I fitted mine some months back (no cable changes required) and I can now do 5-6 hours without my wrists playing up. I could barely manage 2 hours riding before. My wrists are weak due to a biking accident almost 40 years ago and the joints ache more with the passing of time, but with the bars and a gel seat,at 63 years of age I am loving my blade.

    Melvyn at Motorbike seats, Coventry

Good guy to deal with. I had the blade seat back within a couple of days of posting it to him. I also had my Pan seat from him last year on which I've done about 15000 miles. It is just sooooo comfy!

I got my seat 'gelled' at Vikings in Kent, depending on where you are in the country?

    Another great upgrade.

There is a post on here somewhere about a guy in Newport who seems to do very good work at a very reasonable cost.
