Turns out I need a complete left mirror for my 09 blade.

Anyone here used ant after market mirror s? Any thoughts on these or shall I keep an eye for an original one?

    Thanks

    do your checks before purchasing.

Many of the cheapo ones do not fold. I got some M&Ps pricier than the chinese ones but got them next day.

wouldn't recommend them as the day lights where a yellowish colour and flashed alternately with the blinker. Secondary I fold in my mirrors frequently and they became loose only after a few weeks.

Good condition OEMs are imo a better bet

Thats what the folding function is for, makes total sense!,

Always thought they were for filtering in tight situations!

yes they do but the lighting is not the same as OEM, see vid

as you can see the daylight flashes, easy fix though, just transplant the electrics from the OEM. As I said if you fold frequently they become floppy very quickly, a used good condition OEM is far a better bet.

No I don't fold at all, just incase of a knock the chineese copies wont allow.

The daylight flashing isnt very good however!

My bike is a trackbike, just trying to get it on the rd also so I don't have the original mirrors.

    Honda ones are very expensive!

    Thanks for the vid

I have a left for sale if you want.

It's less the indicator and plastic front piece, but it's from the metal stem (where it bolts to the bike) up to and including the mirror.

The only downside (and the reason I changed it) is because it got a bit loose when in the normal riding position.
It folds back fine and still works, but get on a charge and it'll moves a cm or so from the wind.

I only changed it as I needed a new right mirror after I hit a ped and my OCD wanted both sides to match.
