Hi seniors, I'm Dave from Indonesia. Currently I'm riding a 2013 Repsol CBR1000RR non ABS. I have already put the Brembo GP4RX on my standard BPF Showa fork, and now since I have a leakage on my BPF, I think it's time for me to upgrade my BPF with Ohlins. The only available for me is FGRT 204 (Sice the FGRT 813 and FGRT 806 have already discontinued). But after I read some old forums here, I found that Ohlins made the new FGRT 204 to include the 5 mm spacer on the std Showa, and so does GP4RX, so when I put it together, the GP4RX fitting will be about 3 - 5 mm higher. The only way is to get a 330 mm rotor (that I cannot find one) or downgrade my GP4RX with HPK. I don't like to machined down the Ohlins lower fitting option. I already tried to ask the authorized Brembo dealer here in Indonesia, and after they consult to the Brembo Headquarter, they said that the only way is to upgrade my GP4RX into GP4RR, which is way to expensive for me since I'm not riding my blade for track day. And they said that the HPK won't fit the setup with FGRT 204 also. I noticed that @Jamiestrada did the setup with HPK and FGRT 204, do you did any modification to the setup? I really had the confusion here, please someone can assist me... Big thanks

Hi ShinysideUp, I read that post by Jamie already, Mate. I see the difference between the discontinued 813 and the new 204 except the 30 mm NiX cartridge is also the dimension of the lower caliper fitting that the new 204 is machined to include the 5 mm spacer. Since I already put the GP4RX that also machined to include the 5 mm spacer, so I cannot put it with the FGRT 204 or the caliper will be set 5 mm too high. And what makes me really confuse is that there are no one in this whole Indonesia who notice this. I've seen a few people went with FGRT 204 and GP4RX setup and they're not aware about the too high caliper position until I asked them. A shop in Perth, Australia told me that they can made an order to Brembo for custom 330 mm supersport rotor, they have done the same setup without any further modification, just plug and play with that 330 mm custom Brembo rotor. But when I checked with Indonesian Brembo authorized distributor, they said that the Brembo never accept a custom order for public, except a superbike rotor that they provide with 336 mm dimension. Then which one is the right one? I really really want to put the Ohlins R/T fork, since I already had an TTX GP installed on my rear suspension setup, so at this stage the only way is to sell my GP4RX and swap it with HPK (which I need to know the truth by anyone who already went with FGRT204 and HPK setup experience no problem at all? despite Brembo said that HPK cannot be fitted on the FGRT 204 but GP4RR will).
ISR will make you a custom sized rotor. I'll go find you a link. Will you still be able to fit the callipers though with the gap between the wheel and rotor now being smaller?
Swapping to GP4RR will buy you back 2mm. I found a really good suspension and engineering work shop that was able to mill 3mm off each caliper bolt on the fork. Make sure they also mill the internal dowl for the caliper the same depth.
That is a very nice setup You've done, mate. Brembo Italy also recommend me to swap with GP4RR as they can adjust the fitting dimension special for me, but it will take longer. But that is quite a big $ for me regarding I'm using my bike mostly on the street, So I don't think I need the GP4RR yet. Beside I still have to mill 3 mm more... I just don't feel comfortable doing that here in Indonesia... I wonder if the HP caliper really just plug and play without doing any adjustment at all...??? Is the FGRT 204 offset is just the same with the original Showa fork ? I think it should be the same regarding Ohlins made that specific for 2012 - up CBR1000RR. But if not there will be another problem
I read somewhere in this forum that by upgrading my rotor with a 330 mm rotor will fix the problem. I did the math and I think this really make sense (GP4RX already include the 5 mm spacer, and so does FGRT 204, so the total dimension will be plus 5 mm, and 330 mm diameter rotor will just perfect, as long as I keep the offset still the same with the stock rotor) I'm not sure if there's any ISR authorized dealer in Indonesia...
I looked into this options, I wouldn't recommend this. Easiest way to get 330mm Discs would be to buy a Ducati 1198 front wheel (and discs) then make spacers to suit.. But buy far...milling it off is the easiest and quickest way. I know from experience.
How come I never thought to change the wheel... Maybe I can try to search an aftermarket wheel that suit duc's and get the 330 mm brembo rotor for Duc and make the spacer. Since i'm planning to swap my wheels with OZ or M7RS Genesi. But I need to make sure that the spacer have to be super fit or else it will be ended up with a broken wheel and axle... Should go to check the wheel data ... Oh yes does anyone know if Brembo do make a 330 mm superbike rotor ? (not super sport or T-drive). As far as I know, there are so many brembo superbike rotor in UK. I don't know if that need a race team to purchase it or not?
The superbike discs (like in my photo above) have only a 30mm band. So you need narrowband pads like on the GP4RR... GP4RX have 32mm pad band so it would over hang to the buttons. I would recommend T-drives for what you are trying to achieve.

ZO4's are no use for Road Riding, they're Balls out Track Pad. Wouldn't go milling Callipers either as you'll make the Calipers worthless outside your bike or a similar set up.
i did last year the same conversion for a customer/friend (he also bought same parts ending with this issue), using brembo 330 mm for sc44/sc50 spaced out 4.8 mm not the best solution but cheaper
Brembo did have a 330 mm rotor? I wonder if sc44 / 50 have the same spec (holes and offset) with SC59 ?
OEM sc44-50 were 330 mm Same Specs of sc57 aswell 12.5 offset Offset of sc59 is 15 , that s why 4.8 mm spacers 2.4 left side 2.4 right side I still have spaces here
Check the spec of OEM discs on Metalgear.au (Really helpful ) You will see how in someway swap is simple between Honda model Forgot to tell U , may brembo 330 for Honda are bit hard to come But batfly discs from braking are amazing Just in case
