Just an update, i got an email from someone else at the dealers - they said to send them the registration document and they will send it off to DVLA with a cover letter explaining they have made a mistake and missed out the company name.

The dealer now has the reg document - fingers crossed..

Are there any insurance implications to having it in the company name?

Normally one of the questions they ask is - 'is the vehicle registered in your name?'

Am, guessing its just another money making exercise.. like they ask you if you have been on any courses for speeding (police speeding course and insurances are not linked) you just get shafted from both sides..police and insurance rise...even though u got no points!

The reg document has my name & address and only company name - . only made a small difference on the insurance side..
