Does anyone know the outside diameter of the collector pipe on the 2014/15 headers ?

Yeah was thinking the same ! But looks like I'm gonna have to go to the hassle of removing original end can measuring the pipe, then refitting until I get link pipe made  being brand new I'm hoping it'll be easy to come part tho

Akra link pipe is 61.3mm without clamp, so 60 would be right me thinks.

There isn't much choice of exhausts on the used market for the 14/15 bikes.
Would be good if there was a converter sleeve to allow the earlier exhaust to fit.

Yeah think that's what I'm going to get fabricated, need to check if headers end at the same point as 08-12.
Also thinking I might alter end of yoshi link pipe to fit down pipe.
Only problem with that, not sure how much the smaller diameter pipe work will effect flow, prob not much and the exhaust is being fitted for noise not performance ( she likes it noisy  ).

I think the 14/15 bike has shorter headers so the 08/13 link pipe will not reach them.
From what I can tell from looking around is that it would need a sleeve made going from 48mn to 60mn.
The gas flow would not make any difference as the standard can normally bolts straight on which will be more restrictive than a link pipe.

Just had a quick look, and it seems there is a sneaky catalyst added now and the O2 sensor is before it, it's not in the silencer like on 08-12.
So some more thought and a bit of messing around to get the R77 yoshi to fit, my mate owns a fab shop and has agreed to help, if we are successful I will get him to make a few :D

Might be easier to just buy the earlier headers and fit those

Yes I would personally swap out the headers too. This would also get ride of the cat they have in the headers so much neater.

Not sure they will fit the ports in the head
The headers are 35mm on the 2014 and 38mm on the 08-13
Also the older headers don't have the balance pipe between 2&3, something about the extra torque ?
