No Simon it seems you missed my point. We both agree that its fine for racers to race hard, AI did it with VR the week before and cost VR points not an issue. The race before that DP raced hard against VR again costing him points, no complaint just great racing. MM deliberately SLOWS to mess with VR and the Championship, thats totally different. In 2010 at Motegi VR DIDN'T slow down to seek JL out to spoil his race....
Here's a question for the folks, MM is being accused of deliberately slowing down and then trying to hinder Rossi right? Why was this supposedly deliberate slowing and interfering that everyone is now seeing in abundance that happened at Philip Island and leading on to Malaysia.............. Why did the inter webs and social media not light up and go nuts in the four days after PI as it was so obvious, it only went nuts after the church of Valentino brought it to light!
PI was different, in my opinion. All 4 guys were right up the front and fighting for the win. MM wasn't in Sepang. JL and DP had sodded off. MM was fighting like it was the last lap........for 3rd place........on lap 8 or something. He was trying to mess up VR's race and nothing much more from what I can see.
Well I doubt Rossi saw it that way at PI Rich according to his after race chat I'm betting MM couldn't believe what he had just said about him and therefore went out to beat him at Sepang, hard racing to beat VR was my take on Sepang, until Rossi didn't want to give that place away and made a very starnge move which ended up with MM crashing out! Most of this was brought on therefore by Rossi mouthing off MM after PI, not sure what Rossi was trying to gain with that, but it seems to have backfired? Still I am looking forward to some awesome racing from Rossi to get to the pionts he needs on Sunday, will be fun to watch anyway
When I was watching the live footage from sepang what stood out to me was that neither Rossi or marquez's bikes were setup well during the race as both bikes were either spinning up, losing the front or running wide as both were trying to stay in front and their respective bikes were letting go giving the other rider opertunity to get by.......imh both riders felt they could keep up with the front two but neither would give the other the time to actually try especially when the bikes were making all sorts of wrong shapes in front of the other! By the time of the race tho Rossi had already talked himself into thinking Marquez was hampering him (mainly due to his pre race press conferences!) and out to get him from PI. As the race progressed vale's fears were coming to fruition as Marc was once again back beside him during the race and Rossi started getting more and more flustered with Marq rather than the actual race events, both Marc and vale were giving as hard as they got with lots of pretty harsh but fair overtakes without any collisions or contact until Rossi decided to run marquez's wide and off the track. Rossi's lap times at sepang didn't dramatically increase when Marquez was out of the race and even during the two's battling laps only seen a max of 0.7 second drop in time for only the one lap mostly the lap times were pretty consistent with the leaders. The leaders didn't actually make a big gap until Rossi started waving the arms and looking back at Marc, but given rossi's lap times didn't dramatically drop after marquez was out of the picture would suggest Rossi couldn't have run with dani and Jorge. Only once after the incident did Rossi get below the lap time of Lorenzo according to MotoGP time sheets.
Well obviously everyone's entitled to their opinion. Having said that....you're wrong. Allow me to clarify the facts for you. Marquez is a tw*t. Rossi is god. Anyone who doesn't think likewise is a compulsive m*sturbator
He's so fast when he's on it and anyone who's prepared to have all the fascia removed from their forearm just to keep racing surely deserves it.
Basically he was trying to have VR's appeal blocked but failed, JL wants to win the championship without having to fight for it. Its very sad as i was once a huge JL fan but no more, i honestly believe he would only be happy if he was the only person on the grid.....
He wants to make sure the penalty stays in place....... I wouldn't stop watching Moto Gp but I'm losing faith in all of the top riders with all this crap......
