Stolen idea from another site... This won't be possible for everyone, but think that it would be great to organise a monthly meet for us southern fairies (im one of them) to get together on a monthly basis. Fix a date - I.e third wed of every month at a location that suits as many as possible and just get together for a shandy and a natter! I'll look into options for venues - dans map will help no end - if it's something people would be interested in?? If not, I'll walk away quietly ; (
Well there's a few down the Southern stretch of the m25... and a few out west.. so in the middle, Guildford say... would be good.... it just so happens to be very close to me................................ what are the odds!
Not million miles from me either mate! Nice roads there and motorway home... Could be an option Horsham looks pretty central...
Count me in. I work irregular hours so may not be a regular, but relish the idea of an excuse to get out and about. I hail from Maidstone area for what it's worth. Mick
As OP says, look at this thread boys and put your ROUGH locations in (nearest major town) and it will be easier for us to determine where.
Or make sure your on here (sorry if you meant that zee) as it help this but also for other meets etc http://1000rr.co.uk/new-members/2444.htm
Hopfully we can get monthly meets going all over the uk for 2012 Looks like Abergaveny Bus Bays is a possible for Wales to Bristol ish area . Obviously all welcome if your willing to travel
Abergaveny is a definite when its warmer and a few can meet up on the bikes Looking at the members map how's about Reading? looks very much middle between many on here. Tucker is the only one a bit further away and it's easy for people in the south west and I would have thought it was easy to get for the members inside the M25. I'm just not aware of any good pubs/meeting points around Reading. And thinking while the weathe is crap we could do Pub meet just to catch up with other members? it's about 80 miles + from me? Thoughts ?
Perhaps once you've all agreed meet venues dan could flag them on the map also to make it easier to work out which is best location for individual members.
Sorry , Guildford a bit far from me, sorry Chris. If it was just to suit the majority of us southeasterners, can I suggest Maidstone or Ashford???
I'm in. If I'm around and it's not raining or cold, I'll be there. Reading, Guildford, Maidstone all work for me.
