I used to think the blades were the best bikes out there.. lol..

My friend recently said he is looking to buy a R1 2010..

So i went online..and checked the reviews and the blades like are the worst of any that are reviewed?

Is this the case? is Honda that far behind technology?

Not sure if these means anything to an average road user, who covers few 1000 miles a year..

Look at it this way Sam....... if it isn't bust don't fix it....... the current variant hasn't changed massively since 2008..... the next model no doubt under well secret construction will have to be a belter and I'm sure it will be...... look at the others even with major changes they've still been out shone on occasions on the track and roads by older proven technology.....

don't panic mate you've bought one of the greatest bike produced by Honda in its current guise........

just don't sell within two yrs as the residual loss may be too great a burden to handle !!!!!!! ;)

I guess it all depends on how you define best. If fastest, lightest or most powerful mean best to you then The Blade isn't the best out there but as a complete package for riding quick on the road it is hard to beat. Great build quality, great reliability, predictable handling, resonantly comfortable, cheap to insure and lets face it bloody quick too. The day I decide that a blade just isn't fast enough for the road is the day I have a long hard talk with myself, it will crack high 3 figure speeds with easy and in the blink of an eye too.
