Pretty much yeah . i made a plate to block it all off with to holes in line with the bolt holes already there. just bolted a small L bracket on then
Don't think i want to do anymore. The bike bike is booked in for some Metzeler m5's on tuesday, as the OEM Dunlop Qualifiers are shit. Carbon mirrors Carbon chainguard Carbon Frame covers ASV levers Carbon seat sides Evotech rad cover Evotech tail tidy Carbon front mudguard Carbon rear hugger Carbon can cover Carbon yoke. Honda tankpad, filler cap and tank front
Here's my new 2010 ABS just after delivery a few weeks ago. I've since fitted Evotech fork & swing arm protectors. I've also got Gilles crash protectors, an Akrapovic slip-on and some Akrapovic carbon parts to fit. I'll add some updated pics when I've got it all fitted. A tail tidy's next on the shopping list.
Did you buy it new? They come with them new, along with the swingarm stickers..the previous owner would have took them off.
My mate bought a blade last week and his castrol sticker was unused in with the manuel and stuff... check there mate
Mines got all the stickers on the tank and swing arm warning you of immediate death if you don't do various things... defo never came with a castrol sticker on the frame there though. I'm tempted to take the H.I.S.S stickers off the tank and chain adjustment ones off the swing arm. They may as well put the instruction manual on the side of the swingarm.
Fiorst thing i done was remove all the warning stickers with a hair dryer. Everything off the swing arm thou i stuck on garage wall
First thing I did was take the stickers off the swingarm and the 95RON one of the tank. Think I left the HISS on on though Warm them up with a hairdryer first. They're pretty stubborn to get off! use petrol to remove glue then rinse of right away or mr sheene is good to get the glue off but won't shift the actual sticker
Some photos of mine. Leo vince exhaust PCV Brembo 19x18 SES rearsets HEL lines King carbon hugger R&g tail tidy Progrip gel grips HRC tank pad and filler cap HRC cowl Also waiting to fit GI pro gear indicator and HRC high screen when I get home
Looks good without the stickers, I think I'll remove from mine also. I wonder if the Leo Vince carbon heat shield would fit with an Akrapovic slip on? Looks very nice indeed
I think it would with some slight trimming here and there. I trimmed mine slightly with a dremmel and a file as it rubbed on the exhaust.
After falling off my 2007 model 5 week ago (fooking gravel) Here is my new bike i treated myself to Just need a yoshi r77/PCV/Gilles rear sets now!
very nice wasnt a fan of the 2011 HRC TBH so went for the 2010 instead but that looks really nice. would look even better with gold wheels i reckon. really growing on me that colour scheme
