...Honda need to pull up their socks! http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/2015/november/suzuki-gsx-r1000-l7-2016/
The r1 and pani are different to say the least and trying to keep a fresh style.... Think the Suzuki looks nice but a very safe design, and a all new bike in same colours as last year? Wtf!!! Only Suzuki.... Spec looks like it's a real contender tbough.... As said this really does leave the blade way behind (on paper) to all the other thousands now....
Does nothing for me, design too bland and in my view not a lot of difference from existing model and why do they still have that horrendous shape head light, have never liked it since it was first introduced. Honda design team need to be a bit more adventurous with the 17 Fireblade.
The nose cone of the new gsxr reminds me of a k4 gsxr1000. I was hoping suzuki might follow in Yamaha's foot steps and go down the moto gp styling route. Obviously not.
Well at least their making an effort and heading in the right direction although I'm not keen on that head light or that huge exhaust...
It will be interesting to see how it does up against the competition. Agree that Honda is getting left behind by the other manufacturers at the moment. I'm sure they've got something special up their sleeve for the next generation Blade though.
Has anyone got any ideas or links about the blade's 2016 colours yet? I have seen America only has two choices next year, the SP in Repsol (non ABS the lucky gets) and the normal blade in Matt black which is not to my taste.
Did you even click the link? It's being debuted at the Milan Bike Show. "It’s been a long wait, but a full eleven years after we first caught sight of the now legendary GSX-R1000 K5, Suzuki have pulled the covers off the first all-new version since – the GSX-R1000 L7."
Course I opened the link and commented on a forum about how fugly it was. A parts supplier then told myself and others to calm down stating it was only a concept. He apparently, had been stood at the side of it (as he's a supplier). I've asked him for clarification!
https://www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/motorcycles/about/news/new-gsx-r1000-concept-headlines-eicma/ As stated on Suzuki GB's web site!!! I would have thought it's a bit late in the day to start changing things 'if' it is a 'concept'.....but ambiguous really.
My blade has looked a bit like that at times - no crank in that picture mind that I can see. Gearbox looks as clean as my blade one did after 80,000 miles
It will have a few tweaks but I bet that is pretty close to production ready. The exhaust will be to meet ever tougher global noise and emission regulations - they only want to develop one bike so have to meet the toughest. The spec looks good - launch control great for traffic light grandprix against Mr Repmobile Those bikes have a loyal following so why totally break a working formula - and I rate the MotoGP colourscheme , fair play to Suzuki for pretty much matching their MotorGP, which has done really well in its first season in 2015. The Blade will be the bargain bike of 2016 I would think, still a real world everyday superbike you can just get on and ride and enjoy. Prices of new ZX10, R1, BMW and now this GSXR got to be significantly higher than a blade
The Big Zorst is for Euro 4 compliance with 3 Cats. Soon put a stop to that shyte once bought though!
