I'm loving the MT-10. Cupars in Fife have a brand new 0 mile GSX-S1000 there for £8135. Not a bad deal and they had rave reviews with the K5 engine in them. http://www.cupar.co.uk/used_bikes_detail.php?recordID=SWEB60
My BIL got a 4 mile old pre-reg GSXR600 there at the start of the year for £6995 list price is £8500 (actually it's £9200 but no-one sells them for that).
I hope you get a positive outcome. These dealers need to realise that they have a responsibility to the customer. My mate paid £16995 for a BMW S1000RR HP4 and had it returned 3 times for an ABS issue. It almost spat him off in one corner when it activated itself whilst cranked over at silly MPH. In the end they would not refund him as he had clocked up 1000 miles in a few months, but how are you supposed to find an issue if you don't ride the bike. He finally took out a Motorrad version S1000RR plus a few extras in exchange with Gap insurance then sold it at a big loss. He lost all confidence in the brand in the end and will never buy another BMW. They should not be allowed to get away with making the customer be the tester of a newly released bike! You might end up with a slightly less fancy piece of kit but at least with any of the Big four you should have reliability!
I still have my 2012 anniversary fireblade that I love to bits. I am pleased I didn't px it for the mv. I have owned honda for 38 years and fancied a change before I have to give up riding. I also have a msx125 that is great fun so I guess I am being greedy. But you only live once.
Tell you something, try the Street Triple or R that are currently out. Convinced me to sell my Blade!
Money that's what the problem is looks like my bike may still be owned by bank italia. And not me even if I have paid for it. They may not have been paid by MV agusta and not released the title. Not that I pretend to understand.
MV is 25% owned by amg ( Mercedes ) so can't see a problem there. There reputation has got got to be worth more than a £12000 (?) bike surely?
Most car manufacturers have some sort of stake in a motorcycle company as it allows them to levy their carbon credits against the smaller engines in motorcycles against the high cc engines fitted to the sports cars in order to pay less carbon tax!
The dealer sold you a bike which was not his bike because he did not pay for it. I hope you will get your money back as soon as possible and even if the dealer would give you another new bike that would be the same story, still belongs to MV Italy.
This is permanent. After talking to italy and giving the dealer a second chance I walk away with this stunning bike at a good price. We will see what the future holds but at least we are still talking and no bitterness. Bike to be delivered in two weeks. Roads are now salted so the fun stops.
cracking looking bike fella but not sure i could of taken that after what you have been through? hope you have better luck with this one!
