Any advantages with these over just disconnecting the canle that runs to the can and retaining the servo?
Not really... it saves a tiny amount of weight, but it also frees up a little bit of space for a Power Commander, or a Speedo Healer.
Stops you getting faults and errors if you don't twist the servo back correctly and also frees up space for a power commander
Hi Guys, you can have the fault code turned of in the ECU and have it mapped too so no need for a power commander either. My company both flashes/maps ECU's but also sells kits to allow you to do your own bike. I will be putting up some more info in my trade section shortly if you are interested. Cheers Rich
Whats the crack with your systems dude I like the idea of fully bespoke maps ie tuned on a rolling road never been a fan of flashing is there a way to custom map your systems ??? or can they program them self, I have a PC5 and HM quickshifter on my ZX10 and I think I noticed you did a shifter that was programmable in every gear I like the sound of that
Hi Carlo, I think a lot of people don't really realise just how far flashing has come in the last few years. There are a couple of guys on this forum who already have my systems who would probably vouch for them, but that's for them to say not me. Yes our system is used all over the world to both custom map bikes on the dyno and autotune fuel maps on the road and on the race track. Yes we do quick shifters that are strain gauge and push & pull all in one sensor. They have adjustable for activation pressure as well as mappable at every 10% Throttle position & at 10 different RPM points per gear. The also cut ignition, fuel or both. There is a programmable next shift delay also to prevent a false cut after shifting. They are also supplied with a shift rod. The ZX10R ones have been out for a while now and the CBR1000RR ones are in testing to be released soon. Many customers have come to us and had their ECU mapped or purchased kit to do it themselves and sold on their PCV or Bazazz etc. Likewise people are switching to our QS and selling HM and Techtronics ones. Maybe due to the fact our shifters also come with Launch Control and an Optional pit limiter. I hope that helps. Rich
How do you get the custom maps? are dyno jet tuners able to do this ? or would it be a case of taking it to yourself ? I think ive come across your system on the American sites my idea of flashing was super chips lol Might be a case of removing my pc5 and hm unit
Hi Carlo, you have several options, you can come to me for a map on the dyno, you can send me your ECU for well proven base maps for ignition, STP etc and then tune your fuelling on the road with the kit. You can go to a different dyno, all dyno's will do it because they will try to sell you a PCV or Bazazz etc instead. Where abouts are you based?
Sound im up Carlisle way my mate owns a bike shop so I could use his dyno then ? how would i tune in myself is the kit an o2 sensor or is it laptop tuning software
You can do it with the Dyno or the Wideband controller. If you have access to the Dyno there are lots of options. Give me a PM when you want to start looking at getting it and we can go through the options on the phone, takes ages to write them all down and explain them fully. Cheers Rich
