Woke up to a couple of cms up here and freezing high winds  so bottled it and nicked the the van for the commute. Given it warmer tomorrow though so normal 2 wheel service will be resumed :D

I was out on the CRFx this afternoon and it was flipping freezing in the eastern fens. No ice or snow so far but f&%k me it was cold. The minute the salters come out I wont be out on the roads but looking forward to mucking around in the field in the snow.

I will ride through the Winter, just wash bike afterwards. Always have done, never had any problems with corrosion.

I went out yesterday afternoon, and was extremely cold by the time I got home, seriously underestimated that wind chill.

Not completely true, my last outing at Oulton in October was in iffy conditions and whilst out in the wet (and rain) on SLICKS i high sided and head butted my own wind screen smashing it. Jase saw it all;)

What i mean when i say i won't do a wet track day is that i won't buy wets, slicks are more than good enough for the wet...
