Woke up to a couple of cms up here and freezing high winds so bottled it and nicked the the van for the commute. Given it warmer tomorrow though so normal 2 wheel service will be resumed
I was out on the CRFx this afternoon and it was flipping freezing in the eastern fens. No ice or snow so far but f&%k me it was cold. The minute the salters come out I wont be out on the roads but looking forward to mucking around in the field in the snow.

Same here, gritters out last night, roads covered in salt this morning. That's it until March/April, going to be a long wait
Me too, my baby is snuggled up in the garage, optimate on and wrapped in her favourite quilt. She has no business out in this weather Gonna be along winter tho without her
As long is it rains In between it can wash it away so may get the odd day in, went out on push bike this morning salt everywhere like bits of brick excessive creates mess everywhere
I will ride through the Winter, just wash bike afterwards. Always have done, never had any problems with corrosion.
I went out yesterday afternoon, and was extremely cold by the time I got home, seriously underestimated that wind chill.
Not completely true, my last outing at Oulton in October was in iffy conditions and whilst out in the wet (and rain) on SLICKS i high sided and head butted my own wind screen smashing it. Jase saw it all What i mean when i say i won't do a wet track day is that i won't buy wets, slicks are more than good enough for the wet...
Pmsl i know, you think wow I've saved it then as your coming down from the heavens your head goes straight through your screen
Ask Bruce, I once came I'm blood pissing all over my leathers and out my lid all over the bike, did two laps before I realised
