When I got my bike a month ago I thought I would leave it standard as I think its a nice clean example. Now I have been searching for exhausts, hugger, seat cowl, levers, screen etc ....

I've seen to of gone the other way and just want to spend money on it. Anyone else have the same dilemma ....

Personally I don't mind modifying as long as it is subtle and done with taste.

As above, dont go mad with the mods unless you want a race bike for the track. Expensive habit you see..

I was exactly the same with this bike after spending God knows how much on my TL1000. But soon starting adding bits and pieces to it which I think just improve it enough for me.

So far I'm thinking seat cowl, hugger, double bubble screen, rad guard, exhaust, tail tidy, short levers and getting it dyno'd

my blade is completely showroom, it seems to stand out as most blades have been tweaked one way or another...tempted by a tall screen though...

Exhaust slip on, -1f +4R sprockets will really make it shift

Do you notice a bit difference changing sprocket? Does it affect speedo?

Will need a speedo healer to correct speedo but you can feel the pull far more, tops out at 160 though

Might look into this do you get different speedo healers for different set ups?

Mod to suit your own preferences and likes, but change so you can easily change it back to standard when time comes to sell.
I think you'd be pretty safe with tail tidy as most owners would want to change that anyway.

Why do they make the tails so long
On them I don't think I have met anyone yet who like it and doesn't tail tidy it

There must surely be a regulation for new bikes saying something along the lines of the number plate must sit certain height etc
