Lightweight I know, but zipped in my liner on my jacket today, so official start of winter in Kentshire Commute just felt that little more like still being wrapped up in bed.
I was always told Kent was like California where the palm trees and sunshine are always out no matter the time of yr? Winter clothing still included shorts and t-shirts! Have I been miss informed?
I put on a thicker pair of pants this morning as the seat heater doesn't warm up until I get to the edge of the village.
Still like Cal , I am just getting softer as I get older, only defence I can muster is that I am still running just a T shirt under my jacket, and I never fallen as low as to use girly things, like heated grips, gloves, vests seats etc.
Lol.... Can come visit sometime dude and meet me and Dave v for a shandy drinking contest we are quite good at it lol Party trick is getting northerners (hard Fireblade riding northerners) to sleep whilst standing up in night clubs ha ha
Steady, us genuine folk in the North are waiting for the temperature to drop a bit more before we even think about wearing a proper jacket instead of those mesh tea bag things. Liners.... What are liners?
Heated grips the best £40 spend ever (apart from trying to get home from the NEC a few years back...)
I would take you up on your offer Jimbo but I have reservations about the female hormones that they put in yer shandy.......making me talk nonsense and losing the ability to drive.
Only happened to mention I was feeling a bit chilly and the Northern Massive are getting all punchy, come in wearing my Dianese summer jacket this morning, fe*king freezing but proves us Southern boys can take it Think I might get the bus home though, still shivering Sean Whinging Bean.....still crying over a relegation, what a fairy, get over it lad the games moved on..
