As far as I can see it's pretty simple. I'll be doing the same over the Crimbo period with the track bike to slot in a new engine. Certainly looks easier than my SP1 and that wasn't exactly hard either.
Cool yer it's my track bike too. At the mo it's in my garage tank and air box off. And I'm looking at it. Thinking there's not much left .
Only thing you'll need is the engine removal tool for the castle nut. Though you can stake it off if you ain't too fussed
Looks likely that I'll be dropping the engine on my track bike on Friday. I'll let you know how it goes.
piss of piss,just make sure all engine connections are off. hardest thing is loosening the top frame/engine spacer at the rear,the tabs snap easy on them.
It's is very easy on the blade. I've just done mine over the weekend. Even easier than the SP1 and that wasn't hard.
