I ordered myself a fairing kit from China

Hi Benn this is what i traded for the zzr1400 bad move but it run full circle and i am more happy with the hrc so its all good.

 

Giv I can't believe you swapped that but as you said if your happy with what u have now all is good in the end!

 

Will be interested to see how you get on with the fit and quality mate, been toying with the idea of getting some myself, especialy for when the 'Blade gets on track.

 

I've got the playboy on order now, only paid a few days ago so over Xmas

Will let you know how I get on, gotta get my wheels white powder coated soon so more expense

Pcv and custom map happening in a week or two so it's all a matter of tieing it all together

 

I rang to try and pay today, but was told that they haven't been released by customs yet!
I paid for mine on December 6th.

 

Hondo had a Chinese Rothmans fairing kit on his RR6 and it looked good. Haven't seen him around the forum for a while but he was happy with his.

 

I'm waiting for Castrol bodywork i've ordered from them, they have decent feedback for their plastics...

 

Cant be 100% sur ebut im sure i saw his bike up for sale somewhere. (piston heads i think)

 

Just keep in mind - they will never be concourse standard. If you can live with that then all is well - I can live with it, but i know some peeps are rather "Micro-Fibre" about the whole thing..!

It's a shame really as when he moved on he took down all his pictures too!!

Well my rothmans fairing kit turned up safe and sound and a bonus was no duty charges!!!

 

Cool , Cant wait to see those fitted . Hondo's bike was stunning in Rothmans

 

I can't wait to get them fitted myself.
I've been on standby for work this weekend and so far i've only been home for a couple of hours since Friday morning, so it isn't looking like it will get fitted this weekend
I still need to get my wheels taken in to get them powder coated white aswell, i've been holding off hoping to find a set of lightweight forged wheels at a reasonable price!

 

Your duty charge may come later on mate, they send them out by post to be paid later on with lower value goods, just to give you the heads up! Get some pics up asap mate..

 

My Castrol kit has arrived, got stung £50 by customs
