I'm looking at getting a Shoei GT Air for commuting and touring and wanted to fit comms. The Shoei cardo unit is not approved for the GT Air and whilst looking came across the Sena 10U which is designed specifically for that helmet.
Has anyone used the Sena 10U or other Sena products and what's your views on them.
    Cheers

Sps uses the s20 I think it is? He thinks its a good bit of kit, think they work out a bit cheaper if you can go halves with someone on a pair

I have a 20s very good, did a couple of reviews on my YouTube channel. Would recommend them. Main advantage is you can pair with other Bluetooth headsets doesn't have to be a sena.. Never tested it mind

Same unit as @lambchops and is a great bit of kit! You can even change most of the setting via a phone app which is huge bonus.

plays music via Bluetooth or by audio cable, can use supplied speakers or third party ear buds, great in group intercom mode and crystal clear call and intercom modes! Have taken a call while on the move and the person on the other end couldn't tell I was actually riding until I pulled up outside there house while still talking to them

We have Sena 20's and a mate has a Sena 10. All 3 are fantastic, unbelievably clear, as one person said, people on the other end of a phone have no idea you are on a bike, I know, difficult to believe but true. Only thing is, we get a better range from a 10 to a 20 then we do between a pair of 20's, which is very odd as the 20 is "supposed" to have a better range, if I was buying again, I would just have bought a pair of 10's for us as they seem to do everything need with a good range. As other have said, they will link up with other systems too.

Top class stuff, IMHO, the best on the market.

    Hope that helps.

How quiet is the GT Air? Cruising at motorway speeds  my RX7 is almost unbearable without ear plugs.
Im guessing its not too bad if you're using a Sena

Tried on the Schubert but it is not very comfy

With the sena it's all about getting the speakers positioned correctly, played with mine a few times now it's perfect in both my helmets as bought a second helmet mounting kit. Realised my ears are a lot lower than I thought hehe

I have to admit I found the natural ear sockets in my arai to be perfect.
I wasn't expecting much on the sound quality after being spoilt with good earbuds, but these are not bad at all and way more comfy than buds that keep falling out.
Very impressed how easy it was to install and set up, looking forward to road testing it real soon.
Hoping i can use the sena mic on my drift hd ghost cam too, yet to try that though.
