after removing ABS and fairings are off I've also removed the flaps in the air tubes, vacuum actuators and all pipe work! Question is I've removed and disconnected the two solenoids but will this bring up any issues on dash? Can't seem to find any relavent info about the solenoids ... Only the flaps... image.jpeg

    No issues mate.

So long as you have blocked off any pipe work where needed then all will be good

That's fab Colin ... Cheers.... Can't believe that Honda even went to the trouble of using the vacuum system to draw out damp from the headlight cluster!! Very clever indeed....

You can strip out the tubing all the way back to under the tank and can use the blanking plug off the canister to block the pipe used by the longest length of hose going back under the tank

Will removing the flaps and all parts for it require a tweek to the Pcv map?

No as your tuner would have blocked off these pipes to get a good reading on the dyno.

Wrong pipes Col, those pipes link into the (noise reduction) flaps in the air ducts not the pair unit inside the inner frame area.

Talking of pair valves.... Other than getting a better AFR on the dyno are there any other benefits ??

Nope no benefits on performance what's so ever.

The better afr you mention only comes into play during the actual dyno setup so the probe can pick up the actual afr of the bikes current state, after the dyno has been utilised and a fuel map has been created a blocked or removed pair system has no benefits what so ever except reducing popping/banging on over run!

The flaps open above 4000rpm anyway, so it would only be bottom end map changes if any. I took the the flaps and solenoids out a while ago and havent had any problems with the standard map and the Yoshi map i have. Mind you, who rides a blade below 4000rpm ... :D

I've decided to dump these too and the vacuum chamber in the nose cone. Do I need to remove anything from the air ducts i.e. the spring loaded flaps and diaphrams

I assume this doesn't give me a Fi light once this stuff is junked??
