Data tool S4 removal

    Have you got a meter? Check which wire goes live when you thumb the button then check continuity to the solenoid

    are the indicators still working?

    Think your find ABS models do have bigger batterys...

    Yep have a meter. I think I've given up now. Back to work tomorrow so now have to jump on the tube.

    Gonna make some calls tomorrow...

    Quick update - bike is being picked up tomorrow by a local garage. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

    Thanks Dave. Yeah I agree. I'm just too short on time as well. Don't really want to be on the tube any longer than I have to be.

    Got it back today. £75. The guy said the loom was a complete mess. Also that box was a tracker.

    Only catch - I had to have it picked up from my house and also had it dropped back. So that was another £70. But I'm happy. Back on the bike Friday for work and no more tube!

    General update - no need for the optimate! Without the alarm and tracker thing the battery is back to normal.
