Anyone fitted Avon 3D Ultra Supersports to their blade? Thoughts?

My local Honda dealer is doing a set fitted for £200.

So i'm not sure if this is because you cant give them away or its just a good deal.

Reviews for the Avon 3D's seem not bad - i've ridden on most of the famous brands and generally prefer Pirelli's. But i'm looking to sell the Blade some time over the next few months so dont really want to spend loads on tyres.

Anyone know of a better deal than that fitted?

So finally took the plunge and decided to get a pair of these fitted. Came to £220 in the end - but I didn't think that was too bad. I am in two minds about keeping the bike or selling for newer model. Couldn't find much online from real riders about the Avon 3D sports so was very dubious about them. So I hope future buyers find this link and it may be of use to them.

Got them fitted about 2 weeks ago and have done over 250 miles on them in mainly dry but also damp conditions.

I must say that I am really impressed with them. Heat up quick and get sticky real quick. I did the first 50 miles at a gentle but firm pace - then after 75 miles I have been giving them some stick. Never had a moment on them (so far) and they inspire good confidence. Took my lad out as pillion last weekend and was getting good lean and traction with them. Got my chicken strips to about 1.5 CM on either side so that makes me feel that the tyres are giving good lean and grip.

This weekend just gone was a little damp but I was still out and the tyres gave good feedback and stuck like they did in the dry. I've been a Pirelli Fanboy in the past but these tyres are giving me the same feedback and confidence as the Rosso 2's i had previously. I'll do another update when I reach 1000 miles as it may be a little too early to sing full praise for them - but so far they are really good.
