    Hi all. I've removed the alarm from my 2006 blade and I'm getting the FI light on now.

    How do I read the fault memory? The bike starts and runs on.

    Cheers!

    It will be a series of flashes which correspond with the fault in the manual

    you need to bridge 2 points on the diagnostic plug,then read the flashes,they will be long+short.

    long=10
    short=1
    then add them up and look in your workshop manual what it corresponds to.you can clear the failt memory aswell,sometimes it's easier to this 1st,then run the bike and do a check as it will have logged various faults along the way,so can be trcky to work out what the actual issue is now.

    I assume you have a download of the manual,it explains it all uin the there,how to read them,how to clear them,and table of faults.

    If it does it all the time you can get the code by putting the side stand down whilst the light is on with the engine running.

    If it's seized, it's seized!:D

    If I snapped it tightening the bolt, you have a valid point;)
