I think the previous owner of my blade, has overdone the pinch bolts on the front axle. I have undone them fully and still took all my might and about half an hour to remove the axle. Is it safe to force open the gap at the bottom of the fork leg? If so what would you advise using? Thanks in advance.

Over tightening of these can lead to cracked fork legs.

Get em checked out if that's practical, would be new forks for me tbh

You could try a small wedge to try and gently pry them open again, but as above you could well be looking at new forks if there are any cracks now or after trying to straighten them back out. :(

Was the axle greased properly or was it all dry when it came out? If there's any oxidation on the surfaces it would make it difficult to remove.

Don't forget to heat the metal that you want to move though, it'll massively reduce the chance of fatigue.
