    Hi,

I'd like to upgrade the headlight bulb to make it less yellow and more white.

Any recommendations as to which ones are best?

I've had a search and found a load on HID kits and dual light modules but not really interested in modding the light that far. Just looking for a whiter look light.

What bulbs have you tried and tested?

    Thanks
    Ben

Thanks I'll give those a look. I assume no problems fitting them or heat problems?

I have never had very much luck with the cheap so called xenon bulb replacements.

I have an hid kit fitted to the car and run osram night breaker unlimited bulbs on the bike, I had the earlier generation osram fitted to the car before getting the hid kit which although being brighter when fitted age has seen the brightness decrease of the hid kit as well as having to replace a couple of regulators over time!

The osram bulbs went into the folks daily driver and required no maintenance or replacement over the same time the hid kit was fitted to my car.

I have used 100w bulbs with a blue coating in the past which weren't bad, have now got led bulbs which give as much light as the 100w bulbs and had no problem on the mot

    Thanks for the replies.

It's looking like a toss up between Osram night breaker unlimited and the Philips extreme bulbs that I have read a bit about? My only concern is that they are only up to 20% whiter. Any pics?

SPS, Do you have a link to the LED lights you have? Not read much about those.

    Thanks in advance

I was running the Night breaker bulb too, but fitted an HID kit last weekend. Far brighter and great light on the road. The night breaker bulb are a lot whiter than the standard bulbs.

Many thanks for the links and the input on this.

Looked at the LEDs and others.

Going to go with the Osram lights. See how it goes.

    Thanks again
