forks and back shock settings

Hi all anyone out there about 12 stone got there shocks set up for an 08 blade they would like to share

 

Do a search on here mate. Plenty of advice on here.

Do yourself a favour first tho, set up your preload to suit your own weight and don't take preload advice and hope it's right. It's easy as long as you have a mate to help with the measuring. I suppose base settings are ok but you can fine tune yourself once they are near.

Not much use to you but there's 11 pages of set up advice. I'm sure you'll learn a bit.

IIRC the preload was set for ME but the settings ended up something like half a turn from standard or something. The blade is really compliant in standard form.

Had mine set up for me, 14st, best thing I ever did, frt end is so smooth, but I did do a fork oil change too as an 08 and never been done

 

If you don't want to pay for a setup, start at factory standard and work from there, just trying a few tweak's. Honda are usually pretty good with the factory settings. Factory settings work great for me ( 13 stone full gear ) Did on my 600f4i, 929 and current 1k 2005
