I have bought an official Honda hugger for my 2011 non abs Fireblade (second hand) but the bracket that fits it to the brake line side of the swingarm was missing. I fabricated a bodge up bracket but the hugger does not sit square over the wheel now. Does anyone know where I can get the fixing kit from or have a picture of the bracket with dimensions so I can knock one up? Cheers for any help.

Mine is off the bike at the moment so I'll try and get you a picture of the bracket if that helps?

Have you tried the nearest dealer? I find small parts like brackets, bolts etc tend to be fairly cheap from them.

Whenever I've seen an oem hugger look out of line its usually because the hugger has been put under the brake line brackets rather than over.. If that pearl of wisdom is any use. And prices for parts varies a bit between dealers. Andy at GPWheels Honda Grimsby is a very good bloke to deal with

Thanks mate, the bracket I have used is a fabricated one and is on the brake line bracket, I have now sourced the correct bracket and fixings. Thanks for your reply.

I know what a job I had getting the s/h honda racing carbon one to fit without the oem parts kit, which they won't supply separately, so thought i'd give you my two pence. Gald you've got sorted.

I ordered it from Lings on line so I don't know if it was in stock or not, however, £28 is an interesting price for a bit of formed and drilled metal

I couldn't believe it when they told me the price. Hunts had it in for years so just gave me it, very good of them.
