More so as she seen the pic I took at the Bike show and how taken I was of the bike she wanted to see it for herself and also so I can get some more time to talk and find out what they can for the the large sum of money the bike will cost. But I won't talk about money as it's about the bike

I narrowed it down to a Ducati 1299S, Kawasaki H2 and Ariel Ace. (at the moment, I do want to test ride the new R1 in the spring).

I've test rode the 1299S and was take with just how good it looks and rides. And I've written a review of this a few months ago.

The H2 looks amazing and the stats are out of this world for a bike. But No test rides and told I could not even site on a bike at the Bristol Dealer. But they are going to call me next month so I can have a closer look at the H2 when they have the next one in and give it a good look over.
I love the bike but the lack of test ride on a expensive but has the H2 to the back of my "to Buy list"

The Ace. I was not looking for a naked bike. But just something about the bike I love.
I will be contacting them in the new few weeks and booking a test ride for a day in March when its a little drier.

The Wife loved the looks of the bike and has told me if I get one then I must get the BTS Carbon Wheels ( Not as expensive as I thought through Ariel) as they looks the "Mutts Nuts" Her words not mine. But I agreed they look great

I want the Sports seat, Showa Standard Forks, Painted (Unsure at the moment what colour as you can pick anything you want as long as you have a paint code). Thinking Blazing Orange I had on my 08 Speed triple.

1 little downside is that their is a 6 month waiting list. And as I'm away a lot for various reasons this summer and won't be best riding just yet it would mean having the bike at the back of the summer. and little or no use over the winter.

So if the test ride is good and the bike is something I want in my life then I would be keeping the blade this year and putting down a deposit Oct time so I can have the bike in March 17.
As I said I'm in no rush to change a bike just want one I will be happy with and keep for years to come and enjoy

    And their cars are awesome

Never seen so much emphasis on the wife's opinion on a bike prior to purchase (usually zero isn't it)..... It must be expensive lol

Apparently the H2 is very expensive to insure and there does seem a few second hand one's advertised with only a few hundred miles on them?

    Hmmmm

    Ducati 1299S for me.

Jim you can take it from me 100% the wife's already said get it. But she loved bikes, F1 BSB etc and just wanted to go and see the Ace and Atom. no under the thumb at all mate

AS for price it's going to be something like 5k+ on top of the basic H2 price.

Hells bells, that's a fair lump of cash to spent on a bike, but if you can, why not. As sinewave said, one of the lads was talking to a guy with a H2, he said it cast him £5000 to insure, so worth taking a look at costs before you buy.

Insurance on the H2 is going to possibly be about £800 give or take a little for me. from what I have found out. Unsure on the Ace though
