Please don't think I'm a traitor but I've gone and ordered an mt10 without seeing or riding it. Just looks so good from the photos!
Gone for black /Grey with yellow wheels. No one can say when they will be released or price, though think just sub 10k - bargain!

Looks like the base model ? gets a colour TFT dash.

Also looks like they have tidied up the sides of the radiator and got rid of some of the panels on the side of the engine. Maybe it won't roast your nuts like the old one did :D

Does it have a larger fuel tank ? :D

Amazing bike the old one was....

I loved my MT 10. Had her 3 years. Very fun and capable bike. You won't be disappointed. The one thing you should do after you run it in is get the ECU mapped at junction 33 and some better pads in the front.

I only got rid because I managed to pick up a brand new 2020 Tuono for cheap.

First impressions - I cannot say that I like it particularly.

When I saw the pictures of the new 2021 GSX-S1000 I liked that immediately - that was the immediate response. I cannot say that I have the same reaction when looking at this new MT-10. Maybe I will get used to it, but the first reaction is not there even like it was with the first MT-10.

    Sorry Yamaha

On the aesthetics front, not a huge a fan. I like that the rear end looks a bit sleeker and sharper - but all the other changes, not a fan.

Smaller headlight assembly makes it look too small in proportion to the rest of the bike. I was not the biggest fan of the original the side panels and radiator side panels, but the new ones look even worse in my opinion.

However, I think the main changes to this bike are performance based rather than a face lift. From the sneaky pictures and bits released, it will have a variant of the R1 electronics package, TFT screen as standard, radial front master cylinder and I’d hope a blipper as well. Power wise looks to be very little difference (and it doesn’t need it), figured being bandied about are 163bhp

All a bit meh for me design wise, looks like a Fazer with a funky headlight. I would actually have liked them to have gone a bit more OTT with the original design, but then I do ride a Superduke. o_O
