Hi, Only had the bike a few months, but noticed that the adjusters for the Compression screws on the top of the forks are in different positions. The Rebound settings are the same. The owners manual states that factory settings are 5.5 turns from the full hard position, so the adjusters should match up? Before I check that all the suspension settings are correctly set to factory defaults, and change them if they are not, does anyone know if there is a reason f or this on a new bike? Pics enclosed so you can see what I mean.
I had similar on my 2014 Blade - but checked mine and they were correct - I seem to remember when fully tightened the screws were in different positions - hence not all lined up when set.
No as said the rebound/compression adjusters do not always line up correctly due to the threaded rod/lock nut parts inside the fork tubes. They can often be close but very rarely the same. The threads n locknut im talking about can be seen in my fork service guide in the maintenance section, although those were on the more common cartridge type fork rather than the BPF type but I would expect a similar type issue to present itself in those as issue has persisted right back to earlier damper rod style fork units. Just follow the specs as per manual and make sure they are in stock number of turns out and you will be good.
